From bare walls in December 2003 to this Exciting and Colorful Studio today, more befitting an Artist than a chef's kitchen.  But truly an artist Jacquie is.  You only have to taste her product to realize that.  Actually meeting her is a bonus!

  It all started in 1990.  Jacquie and her husband, Hugh, had bought an old rum factory "Plantation Home called Hilty House Inn " on St. Croix, in the US Virgin Islands and turned it into a bed and breakfast.  It was here that she, always the Entrepreneur, started Jacquie's Jamming.  The fresh, tropical fruit was abundant and very soon every Specialist Gift Shop on the island was carrying her Chutney, Jams and Marmalades; 13 years of 24 /7 is a long time.  It was time for a change.

  So here is Jacquie's Jamming in Naples, SW Florida.  She is already established in a number of local stores including the following: Fifth Avenue South Coffee Company at 6th St. S., Oakes Farm Market on Davis Blvd, Mikkelsen's Pastry Shop off Old 41, and Wynn's Market in Naples as well as Fairchild Botanical Gardens in Miami and Mazzola Bakery in Brooklyn, New York.  All the fruit is locally grown, and, of course, locally prepared in her studio.

    Every Saturday morning in season, from between 7:30 am and 12 noon, the Third Street Farmer's market hosts a wonderful variety of vendors, including Jacquie's Jamming, in the parking lot behind Tommy Bahamas.  When you are in the Naples area it is well worth the trip!
